Sports Operations Internship
Worcester Warriors Football Club is committed to helping enrich the experiences of not only athletes, but students as well. With this being said, the club has created an immersive experience for a small group of students who are passionate about working in the sports management world. As an intern, you will be working closely with our administration to gain hands-on experience with the inner workings of the club’s backroom tasks. You will be given work weekly from the club, along with guidance to help you be successful in your tasks.
Program Highlights

You will gain immense work experience from your hands-on experience with the club
Event Management
You will be tasked with managing events for the club during both the regular and off season times
Public Relations
You will help manage the club values internally and public
Marketing and Promotion
You will help generate ideas and create content for the team social media outlets as well as managing consistent social media output
Data Analytics
You will use statistics to help the club make strategic decisions
Networking
You will have the opportunity to meet many connections the club has established during your internship
Mentorship
You will have direct access to our clubs staff who will guide you 1-on-1 with the tasks handed to you weekly
Qualifications
GPA of 2.9+
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with the major social media platforms including Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, LinkedIn
Experience with using Zoom and Google Drive (Docs, Slides, Sheets)
Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize workloads and to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills, including flexibility, willingness to adapt to change and attention to detail
Basic video/photography/editing skills
Resourceful and productive under deadlines; ability to work under pressure
Valid driver’s license as well as a reliable form of transportation
Willingness to learn, ask questions, and adapt!
